బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కవితను పార్టీ నుంచి సస్పెండ్ చేసిన నేపథ్యంలో తొలిసారి బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ స్పందించారు. మంగళవారం మీడియా సమావేశంలో విలేకరులు ఈ విషయంపై ప్రశ్నించగా ఆయన సమాధానమిచ్చారు.
“కవితపై మా పార్టీ అంతర్గతంగా చర్చించి చర్యలు తీసుకుంది. ఆ ప్రక్రియ పూర్తయిన తర్వాత నాకు ఇకపై వ్యాఖ్యానించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు” అని కేటీఆర్ స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఈ అంశంపై వ్యక్తిగతంగా మాట్లాడే ఉద్దేశ్యం తనకు లేదని, పార్టీ నిర్ణయాన్ని గౌరవిస్తానని స్పష్టంచేశారు.
కవిత సస్పెన్షన్‌పై తీసుకున్న వేటు నిర్ణయం పూర్తిగా పార్టీ వ్యవహారమని, దానిని మరింత పొడిగించే ఉద్దేశం లేనని ఆయన తేల్చి చెప్పారు.
